In a case reminiscent of the Lorna Jane fit model fiasco, UK-based Modelling Network has caused a social media stir after posting an ad to their Facebook page calling for a “good looking girl” to apply for an office admin position.
However, Kingstons – the property firm which has the vacancy Modelling Network was posting about – claims it has no links with the company and did not ask them to advertise the job, reports Wales Online.
Kingstons have confirmed they are advertising for an administration assistant, but note their job ad makes no reference to appearance.
While it remains a mystery as to why Modelling Network – who have since deleted their post – felt the need to spruik the vacancy, social media users, including former Labour deputy leader Harriet Harman, were not impressed they did at all.
