Heartbreaking: Dreamworld victim’s family reveal their anguish ahead of funeral

We have spent every day trying to put one foot in front of the other and it is extremely hard.

Ten days after Gosford mother Cindy Low was tragically killed by a malfunctioning ride at Dreamworld her family have told of how they are struggling to “put one foot in front of the other”.

In a funeral notice published in The Sydney Morning Herald, the 42-year-old mother-of-two was remembered as the “dearly cherished wife and soulmate of Mathew Low and devoted mother of Kieran and Isla”.

The family also released a statement on Wednesday telling of their grief.

“We have spent every day trying to put one foot in front of the other and it is extremely hard. It is impossible to imagine a world without Cindy, our beloved daughter, partner and mother to Kieran and Isla.”

The family said it would “take us a long time to find our way”.

Ms Low, who was an expat from NZ living in East Gosford, was one of four adults killed last Tuesday when Dreamworld’s Thunder River Rapids ride flipped over into the wooden conveyor belt.

Ms Low’s 10-year-old son Kieran was also on the ride, along with another child of one of the other victims but both kids were flung to safety.
