Poor little Scott!
All he wanted for Christmas was a Sony Playstation 4.
However, when he opened his present, he found a wooden box scrawled with a naughty message instead of his coveted Playstation 4!
Somehow, the video game console had been switched out for a chunk of wood with the same dimensions of the Sony gadget.
But the holiday Grinch didn’t just leave it there – there was a rude message and drawing found on the chunk of wood.
Kristin and Brian Lundy, the parents of Scott, told WFXT-TV that he was crushed.
“He’s crying and he’s upset and he’s in the playroom by himself and he just wants to be alone,” said his step-mother Kristin.
The parents took the fake console back to Target in America where store employees were unable to explain how the switch-up happened.
The store’s manager gave the Lundy’s a brand new – and real! – PlayStation and a $100 gift card to make up for the spoiled Christmas.
The Lundy’s said they planned to sit down and write a letter to Santa Claus complaining of the “naughty elf” behind the prank.
