A three-year-old boy has died and another toddler remains in a critical condition after separate incidents in backyard pools in Sydney.
Emergency services were called to a home in Riverwood yesterday afternoon after responding to reports of a toddler needing assistance.
Paramedics found him unconscious and he was taken to Sydney’s Children Hospital in a critical condition.
Sadly, he died a short time later.
Police believe he had been swimming in the pool before he got out and collapsed.
Just an hour later, paramedics worked to save a two-year-old boy after he was pulled unconscious from a backyard swimming pool in Camden South.
He’s currently at The Children’s Hospital in a critical condition.
