In a time where you might be feeling more than a little bit depressed about sexual harassment and how predatory men pretty much get away with assaulting women, you NEED to hear how Carrie Fisher handled an abuser.
This story from Carrie’s friend Heather Ross is proof her incredible ‘won’t take any sh-t’ legacy lives on.
Heather bravely spoke to Tucson’s radio 94.9 MixFM station about a harrowing experience that resulted in the ultimate revenge.
In 2000, Heather Ross met up with an “Oscar-winning producer” – not Harvey Weinstein – for dinner.
The unnamed man picked her up in his car and sexually assaulted her.
“It wasn’t anything romantic at all,” Ross told Tucson’s radio 94.9 MixFM station.
“It happened so quickly that I was ashamed of myself, I thought I did something wrong. I kept quiet for years.”
Ross told her dear friend and deadset legend Carrie Fisher about the assault.

Appalled that her friend had endured something so horrific, Fisher took matters into her own hands.
“About two weeks later, she sends me a message online, and says “I saw [the unamed producer] at Sony Studios. I knew he would probably be there, so I went to his office and personally delivered a Tiffany box wrapped with a white bow.”
Only, the producer wasn’t receiving jewellery…
“It was a cow tongue from Jerry’s Famous Deli in Westwood,” Ross said
It also included a note: “if you ever touch my darling Heather or any other woman again, the next delivery will be something of yours in a much smaller box!”
CARRIE FISHER HAND-DELIVERED THE PREDATOR A COW’S TONGUE AND THREATENED TO CHOP HIS MAN PART’S OFF.
We’re so sorry Heather Ross had to go through this but we congratulate her for having the bravery to speak up.
We’re also glad she had a friend like Carrie Fisher.
