Joni Mitchell was reportedly found unconscious in her home on Monday afternoon.
A statement on her website said the 71-year-old musician regained consciousness while being transported by ambulance to a Los Angeles-area hospital.
Mitchell was undergoing medical testing in the hospital’s intensive care unit but was “awake and in good spirits,” the statement said.
TMZ have reported the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame singer was found passed out in her LA home, around 2:30 in the afternoon, and was subsequently rushed to hospital via ambulance.
According to the news website, Mitchell was conscious and alert on the ride to the hospital, but her condition is currently unknown. She is currently in intensive care.
