A 12-year-old boy has managed to drive solo from Kendall near Port Macquarie, all the way to Broken Hill, which is almost at the South Australian border.
Heโd driven across almost the entire state of New South Wales and was en route to Perth, according to a NSW Police spokesperson.
Highway patrol officers stopped the boy in Broken Hill when they noticed the carโs bumper was dragging on the ground.
Itโs rather astounding he managed to get a third of the way into his journey. Social media is now ablaze with grateful comments that the child didnโt cause a serious accident.
โChecks revealed the driver to be a 12-year-old boy travelling from Kendall NSW on his way to Perth,โ the police spokesperson said.

The 12-year-old was arrested and taken to Broken Hill police station but due to his young age, itโs unlikely heโll be charged.
A Broken Hill duty officer refused to comment further saying it was now in the hands of the Mid North Coast command.
