Josue Ramirez-Marinero’s body was recovered by police in between tree branches of the Elkhorn River in Omaha, Nebraska.

The five-year-old was allegedly asleep and alive in the car seat when his half-brother, Roberto C. Martinez-Marino, threw him over a bridge railing into the river.

Josue’s 11-month-old brother, Angel, was found in a dumpster in La Vista, Nebraska – miraculously alive – on Wednesday last week, while their mother’s body was found later that evening in a ditch with up to 20 stab wounds, according to police.

Jesus Ismenia Marinero was killed by her son, Roberto C. Martinez- Marino, after an argument escalated between the two, leading Jesus to slap her son who then turned violent as he bashed her with a baseball bat before stabbing her, according to authorities.

Roberto then dumped her body along with his two half-brothers in aim to eliminate witnesses police say, but later admitted to the murder.

Police also say Roberto’s girlfriend, Gabriela Guevara, helped him dump the body and the two boys.

Guevara has been charged with assisting a homicide and Roberto has been charged with first-degree murder.
