Bill Shorten has been interviewed by his wife Chloe Shorten in a bizarre new election video.

In the interview, Chloe is seen interviewing the Labor leader on everything from his Army reserve days to his children, Rupert and Clementine.
And in a move very similar to opponent Malcolm Turnbull’s, he also talks about his relationship with his mother.
“Tell me about your mum, your wonderful mother Ann and her history as a teacher and a school principal, what that gave you,’’ Mrs Shorten asked.
The video, which was filmed in a pub in Darwin, also sees Bill answering questions about how he spends his weekends, which includes running and acting as a chauffeur for his children.
