A Big Issue seller in the UK is getting married to a woman he met while selling the magazine on street corners.
The Mirror reports that Jack Richardson, 37, met Toni Robinson almost two years ago, when he asked her for money as she passed his regular road-side pitch.
Toni apologized, saying she didn’t have any money either, and Jack ended up giving her 50 pence for the electricity meter in her old flat.
“Over the next year, Toni often walked past Jack’s Big Issue pitch in central Bristol, and they became close friends,” the Mirror says.
Then the squat in which Jack was living got boarded-up, and Toni offered to take him in, and “the pair fell for each other – and Jack never left.”
