It feels like just yesterday that President Obama was being sworn into office, with his young daughters, Sasha and Malia, then beaming beside him.
But the girls, now aged 17 and 14, have turned into fine women since that night their family first captivated the world in 2009.
Yesterday, they were pictured with mother Michelle Obama arriving in London to promote Mrs Obama’s Let Girls Live initiative.
The wonderfully family-oriented household even brought Mrs Obama’s mother, Marian Robinson, 77, along.
While Barack is also forced to spend a lot of time away from his family due to, well, being the most powerful man in the world, as you can see from these pictures he makes up for it when they are together.
