Baby boy trapped in Nepal earthquake rubble pulled out alive after 22 hours.

A rare story of hope has emerged from the Nepal earthquake aftermath.

A beautiful story of hope has emerged after what seems like an endless stream of horrific updates about the Nepal Earthquake aftermath.

Kathmandu Today has shared images of a little boy, just four months old, being pulled out of the rubble 22 hours after the Nepal Earthquake hit.

His home, in the town of Bhaktapur, collapsed after the devastating earthquake hit on Saturday. Rescuers worked overnight to try and free the little boy, locally named Sonit Awal. They heard his cries throughout the night and into the next morning, and refused to give up before pulling him out alive.

The pictures of this fighter, alive and back in his father’s arms, are simply beautiful.

This little champion has been cleared of any injuries by the Bhaktapur hospital, according to Kathmandu Today. However, it is currently unknown whether his mother, or other family, are still alive.

It may just be one life saved in the wake of government warnings over 10,000 have probably been killed by the earthquake, but it is one less life taken much too soon.

We sincerely hope we can bring you many more hopeful stories as the rescue efforts in Nepal continue today.
