A woman in Atlanta stands accused of cramming her two young sons in an oven and turning it on before video-calling the boys’ father to share the horrific aftermath.
Lamora Williams has been charged with two counts of murder for allegedly burning her two-year-old son Ke’Younte Penn and one-year-old baby Ja’Karter Williams to death in her home.
Their father, Jameel Penn, says Williams called him on video-chat and he immediately alerted the police.
When officials arrived on the scene, the little boys’ corpses were found and Williams was arrested.
The warrant claims the 24-year-old single mother of four killed the toddlers “by placing them in an oven and turning it on”.
The official cause of death is pending an autopsy.
Williams’ 3-year-old son was also in the apartment at the time but was unharmed while her 6-year-old girl was with other relatives.
“I ain’t got no soul no more,” their father Jameel Penn said during a vigil, according to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. “Ja’karter, Keyante, my world, my everything. I’m lost.”
There is a link to a GoFundMe page on Penn’s Facebook page.
It reads: “I want everyone to use my story as a helping hand. I lost my 2 young boys to violence and I want to be a difference maker in someone else’s life to prevent a child being hurt.”
Williams’ relatives told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution suffered from an undiagnosed mental disorder.
