A Melbourne woman charged with the murder of her three children will appear in court today after her car plunged into a lake in April.
Akon Guode’s car crashed into Lake Gladman near her Wyndham Vale home on April 8, killing her four-year-old twins, Hanger and Madit, and 16-month-old son, Bol.
The 36-year-old was charged with their murder in August and the attempted murder of her six-year-old daughter, Aluel, who survived the crash.
Guode has been remanded in custody since the charges were laid.
The 36-year-old has not entered a plea yet and will appear in Melbourne Magistrates Court on Tuesday, reports Nine News.
Guode first came to Australia as a refugee, escaping the war in Sudan where her first husband died.
