69-year-old woman charged with stabbing elderly ex-husband to death

A Melbourne woman has been charged with murder following the alleged stabbing death of her husband in the city’s east on Monday.

Police were reportedly called to an address on Mitcham Road just after midday where they found 73-year-old Harold Nolan suffering from stab wounds, reports Channel 9.

Mr Nolan died at the scene and his wife Renee Nolan, 69, allegedly confessed to killing him.

Ms Nolan has been charged with murder and is reportedly due to face court today.
