Let’s be honest, relationships are tough, like, really, really tough. Especially when you’ve got kids! Throw into the mix an intense divorce, things can become overwhelming, but all this little girl wants is her mum and dad to be friends.

Cherish Sherry from Canada shared a video on Facebook of her six-year-old daughter giving a passionate lecture about parenting and it has since gone viral – for all the right reasons.

Prior to the video being filmed, Tiana is said to have interrupted an argument between her parents who are in the midst of a divorce and what happened next on the modest staircase of their home quite literally inspired millions.

“Mum, are you ready to be his friend?” Tiania asks at the beginning of the three minute clip.

“Just try your best, I don’t want you and my dad to be replaced and mean again,” she adds.

The lecture continues with truth-bomb after truth-bomb about good co-parenting, and there’s something about it coming from a six year old’s mouth that makes the message so poignant.

“I’m not trying to be mean, I just want everyone to be friends, and if I can be nice, then I think all of us can be nice too,” – wow, pass the Kleenex.

Things quickly take an emotional turn, “I’m trying to do my best in my heart, nothing else. I want you, mum, my dad – everyone to be friends, I want everyone to be smiling.”

“My heart is something, everyone else’s heart in something too and if we live in a world where everyone is being mean, everyone’s gonna be a monster in the future,” talk about some serious wisdom!

We don’t know about you, but little Tiana just made us feel all the feelings – because she right, we could all do with being a little kinder.

Thanks Tiana, you’re an impressive little lady.
