Here, we speak exclusively to tonight’s evictee about Insta stalking Matty J, house dynamics, and her infamous moist moment.

Catch up on our episode 6 recap here!

Natalie, 26, South Australia

How did it feel when you were eliminated?

I knew it could be coming that night… I hadn’t had any one-on-one time, he wasn’t showing much interest. It was pretty obvious! I think because I had a good chat with him that night, I was like “Maybe I’m not going anywhere!”

It is a tough moment, it’s not the nicest of feelings. It’s like getting picked last for a bloody sports team in primary school. I laughed it off, which is what I do when I’m feeling a bit insecure and a bit upset.

We loved your red carpet introduction, especially when you admitted (like the rest of us) that you’d been Insta stalking Matty for months! What was it like to see him in the flesh?

It’s weird. I guess it’s like when you see any celeb, you put them on a pedestal. I was a bit star struck. On top of that you have the camera crew, you’re dressed up and the pressure is on you! I went into fight or flight mode and I just started talking and blabbing.

I said the word moist a couple of times, it was very humid that night and the word moist is hilarious too. I just panicked.

It was very entertaining and you’ll forever be known as the Moist Girl, how do you feel about that?

Great, I’m good with it! At least I’m the girl who farted on TV, I’m OK with that. As long as I’m not the girl who put other girls down or bitched about people. As long as I’m the Moist Girl or the girl who farted, I’m way happier with that title. I’ll proudly take that!

What’s Matty like IRL?

He’s really down-to-earth, easy to talk to and has a similar sense of humour to me. He’s funny, he’s jovial and easy to get along with.

“I think I’m looking for a man! I think that’s where my heart is,” Natalie says of her next potential partner.

There’s A LOT of fighting this season, what’s it like being in the eye of the storm?

Living in the house was hard. A lot of people are like, “Oh my God, are they really like that?” And you’re like, “Yep! That’s not a lie.”

None of the producers put words into our mouths, their words are their words. Jen called me a bogan behind my back, that’s the best way to say something about someone isn’t it?

Before you came on the show you were dating a woman. What kind of partner are you looking for post-Bachie?

I think I’m looking for a man. I think that’s where my heart is. I wouldn’t rule out being with a woman again but I do want to have that nuclear family.

Who were you closest to in the house?

Tara, Steph, Sian, Lisa and Florence. But I love Tara, she’s bloody hilarious.

Who won’t you be keeping in touch with?

I know it’s the popular answer at the moment but it’s the honest answer – Jen and Leah.

What was the hardest thing about being on the show?

Probably just the drama, I hated waking up after a cocktail party and it such a big bloody night.

It was a whirlwind of emotions and I woke up and there were too many personalities in the house. It was hard to deal with.

Natalie and Matty didn’t get any one-on-one time together during the show, so he sent her packing.
