Tracy Grimshaw: ‘I could have died’

Tracy Grimshaw has spoken on air about the horseriding accident which left her hospitalised in May, claiming she could have died.

1. TRACY Grimshaw has broken her silence after a horrific horse riding accident, which left her hospitalised and treated for head injuries on the morning of May 7.

Urging people to take all safety precautions when riding, Grimshaw spoke about the accident on A Current Affair.

“I got off comparatively lightly, mostly due to wearing a helmet,” Grimshaw said on A Current Affair.

“I have no doubt I would have been dead without it.”

Grimshaw fell off her horse after it was spooked by a lawnmower on her Arcadia property in Sydney’s north-west, leaving the 53-year-old unconscious with no memory of the fall, according to a CareFlight spokesman.

She was airlifted to Sydney’s Westmead Hospital and later tweeted her thanks to well-wishers on social media.

“Thank you for the overwhelming care and wishes since my accident. Feeling slowly better.Thank God was wearing helmet. #protectyourhead”

After Woman’s Day revealed Wilson was 36-years-old, according to a source who went to high school with her.

Wilson has previously claimed she’s 29-years-old.

The actress tweeted on Monday: “OMG I’m actually a 100 year old mermaid formerly known as “CC Chalice” … thanks shady Australian press for your tall poppy syndrome x”

The source also claims Wilson didn’t have the “bogan” upbringing she publicises and claims the actress’ real name is Melanie Bownds.

Photos published by Woman’s Day show Melanie Bownds standing in a debating team photo in front of a sign stating ‘Year 12’, and the year ‘1997’, which would make her 36 today.

3. PRINCE William has had to leave Baby Princess Charlotte, Prince George and his wife, the Duchess, at home while he attends a meeting in Switzerland.

It’s the first time the Prince has left his family since the birth of Princess Charlotte.

Kensington Palace tweeted a photo of the Prince in Switzerland on Monday, looking sharp in a suit and red tie, while his family remained at the Queen’s country estate, Anmer Hall.

Prince William attended a meeting of the United for Wildlife movement, which is a foundation the Prince, his brother Prince Harry and the Duchess of Cambridge created together.
