According to the French Defence Ministry, 12 jets dropped 20 bombs on the terror groups de-facto capital.

โ€œThe first target destroyed was used by Daesh (another Arabic acronym for IS) as a command post, jihadist recruitment centre and arms and munitions depot,โ€ a ministry statement said.

โ€œThe second held a terrorist training camp.โ€

It comes after the Islamic State claimed responsibility for coordinated attacks in Paris that killed 129 people.
