Sophie Monk may have fled to Thailand to avoid spoiling the ending of The Bachelorette Australia, 2017 but it’s done little to dispel the Bachie rumourmill going into complete meltdown.
But perhaps the most shocking claim Sophie has had to weather is that rumoured winner Stu Laundy has been cheating on her with Sydney socialite and businesswoman Tiffany Tilley.
Appearing on Nova’s Fitzy and Wippa‘s radio show on Thursday just hours before the grand finale, the 37-year-old finally broke her silence on the wild reports.
“I don’t know what to believe anymore. I’m not pregnant, no. I’m just fat,” she laughed, before confirming she’s still very much together and in love with her Number One.
“I can confirm I’m still with the guy. I love the guy,” Sophie explained.
That sound you hear?
The whole country breathing a sigh of relief, happy in the fact the nation’s first daughter has finally found what she’s looking for.
Soph also revealed she’ll be watching tonight’s finale with her new boyfriend but they were still nutting out a top-secret location away from prying eyes.
“We’re not sure yet (where we will watch). We’ve got to figure it out,” she said.
If her finale night is anything like Matty Johnson and Laura Byrne’s they’ll be holed up in a hotel room sipping champers and ordering room service.

Meanwhile Sophie has also defended the show’s resident “stage-five clinger” Jarrod Woodgate, insisting he’s not as overbearing as he seems.
“I see a different side to what you guys see. I’m telling you, he’s such a beautiful, caring person,” Sophie revealed.
It didn’t stop the radio duo from poking fun of him, joking he camped outside Sophie and Stu’s hotel room after the finale.
“You don’t know if you’re offending me!” Sophie said in protest of Jarrod.
Well, we officially have whiplash deciding if Stu or Jarrod win.
Bring on 7:30pm when Australia will finally get to meet Sophie and her man.
