This stunning 1880s New York mansion has been on the market for years at a shockingly low price and Google Maps has finally found out why.
Haunted house in New York caught on Google maps

At just $AUD135,000 this four-story mansion is a steal, except for the fact that you’ll have to share it with some rather scary house guests.

Google’s Street View captured a photo of the house with three pair of ghoulish-looking hand prints on the third floor windows.

The heritage listed house has been on the market since 2010 after its previous home owners mysteriously abandoned the residence shorty after moving in.

They bought it for over $AUD300,000 and the home, with beautiful hardwood floors and gorgeous stained windows, was built by a former clergyman in New York’s Camden area.

Despite the hand-prints giving us an immediate creepy vibe, internet skeptics have suggested that they have been painted on, even though the photos from the real estate website show no signs of any ghostly activity.

So if you’re interested in this stunning home, then as well as asking the realtor where the local school is and how noisy the neighbours are, we suggest also inquiring about how many ghosts live there and how violent they are.

Think of the plus side, at least you’ll never be lonely!
