This year’s Forbes annual list of the world’s highest-paid celebrities will make your life savings look like pocket change but as the saying goes, more money, more problems.

Taking out the top two places are boxers Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao, earning a superfluous $300 million and $160 million respectively.

Pop princess Katy Perry is in third place with an impressive $135 million beating out her arch nemesis Taylor Swift, who nabbed eighth spot with $80 million.

We hope Zayn took a long hard look at his bank balance before he bowed out of One Direction because they came in at number four on the list pocketing a massive $130 million.

Out of the 100 celebrates who made the list only 16 were female, with pop powerhouse Beyoncé coming in at number 29 with $54.5 million, followed by Kim Kardashian at 33 and Jennifer Lawrence in spot 34 both raking in around $52 million.

TV’s highest-paid person is Ellen DeGeneres, sitting comfortably in 12th place and laughing all the way to the bank with $75 million thanks to producing five prime-time shows.

These two boxing champs earn an astonishing amount of money. Their infamous battle in the ring on May 2 gave Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao first and second place on the list respectively. Their fight is said to have grossed over $600 million with Floyd making $300 million and Manny $160 million.

Katy Perry doesn’t laugh all the way to the bank, she roars! The Teenage Dream singer can thank her epic global Prismatic tour for her bulging Moschino wallet. The concerts earned the pop star a cool $2 million per city, raking in $135 million over-all and third place in the annual rich list. Not bad for a Grammy-less 30 year-old.

The world’s biggest boy band, One Direction, also have some of the world biggest bank balances, after earning $130 million. The lads have managed to rake in more than twice the amount of bands like The Rolling Stones and experts say it’s going to stay that way, even without Zayn. The number four slot in the Forbes list seems very appropriate.

Spot number five goes to radio jockey and media personality Howard Stern. He’s become radio royalty in the US thanks to his off-colour brand and controversial commentary earning him a whopping $95 million pay day.

Garth Brooks proves country music is still massive in America as he picks up around a million bucks every time he performs, earning him 6th spot and $90 million.

Who said books are dying? Legendary author James Patterson pumps out 16 novels a year meaning his pay check is worth $89 million and he sits pretty at lucky number seven.

Iron man? More like money man! Robert Downey Jnr takes home around $80 million thanks to his contract with the Marvel films that gross $1.4 billion at the box office.

There are no blank spaces in Taylor Swift’s bank account as the mega-star shares 8th place with Robert Downey Jnr. Most of T-Swifts $80 million pay packet is thanks to her incredibly successful 1989 album and her refusal to allow it to appear on any streaming sites.

The best soccer player in world also has one of the best looking bank accounts around. At number ten, Cristiano Ronaldo raked in $79.5 million, largely due to sponsorship and his giant salary with Real Madrid.
