The British actress, who famously portrayed Hermione Granger in eight Harry Potter films, shared a truly magical moment with a young fan.
A few years ago, over the Halloween holiday, an unsuspecting young boy was walking down a New York street when Emma noticed him.
The little fan was dressed as J.K Rowling’s most famous creation, Harry Potter, wearing his Hogwarts school robe, circle glasses and armed in one hand was his wand and in the other a pumpkin bag for lollies.
“Excuse me, are you Harry Potter?” Emma asked as she approached the boy, to which he replied, “Yes”.
“That’s great, because I’m Hermione Granger and we’re best of friends!” the actress beamed, giving him a big hug. The 25-year-old posed for a photo with the timid boy.
The snap that was taken a few years ago has made the rounds again after Movies-Now shared the photo on Facebook.
The Harry Potter actress also has some famous fans, in particularly James Franco.
The 37-year-old actor shared a selfie on Instagram of the Emma’s face and name on his neck.
Captioning the black and white photo with, “I love Hermione,” he credited his tattoo artist Cheyenne Randall for their handy work.
It was soon unveiled that James, who co-starred with Emma in 2013 comedy This is the End, had tricked fans into believing it was permanent. Instead it was the clever use of Photoshop by Cheyenne that created the unusual body art.
