In a sweet video shared on Break.com, smitten dad Ted cradles his chatty son and tells him “I love you!”
Much to Ted’s surprise, his tiny tot repeats the exact sentence back to him.
The amazing moment is made all the more heart-warming by little Ben’s beaming smile while the family cat watches on intently in the background.
In the caption alongside the footage Ted, from Cherry Hill, New Jersey, lovingly penned: “‘My baby boy Ben said ‘I love you’ for the first time. Good thing my wife had the camera rolling. Enjoy! Our lovely boy is growing faster than we can keep up!”
Understandably the clip has since clocked up over a million views and the baby has given a whole new meaning to Kid Genius.
