And the bride wore… toilet paper?
That’s certainly one way wipe out the competition when it comes to your wedding dress.

The 13th annual Toilet Paper Wedding Dress Contest took place in New York City this week, and we’re blown away by these amazing entries.
Who would have thought you could do so much with just two-ply and imagination?
The contestants are only allowed to make their creations from toilet paper, tape, glue and/or needle and thread.
The entries are then judged on “Creativity, Originality, Beauty and the use of Quilted Northern Toilet Paper.”
The first round contestants are judged through photos, then the selected entries come to compete in the big leagues – a finale runway show in New York City.
Besides the very much deserved knowledge of a job well done, what do the entries win?
They’re in the running for a Grand Prize of USD, $10,000 and runners up receiving $5,000 and $2500 for second and third respectively.
The competition is fierce!
Cheap Chic Weddings announced the winner of the 2017 competition, Kari Curletto from Las Vegas who is pictured below.
With the average Australian wedding now costing over $30,000 we can’t say we blame these brides for looking for a cheaper alternative – though just how much an average punter could do with some glue and T.P is unknown.
Guess, we’ll just have to admire these beauties from afar.
