The fuller house star and his pregnant fiancée have said have said I do this weekend, just days after Caitlin’s hotel room was burglarised and over $150,000 (USD) worth of wedding jewelry was taken.
Proving the show must go on, the couple were married as planned in John Stamos’ Beverly Hills backyard.
Pictures obtained by US Weekly show Caitlin glowing in a white strapless wedding dress, and Stamos smoldering in a suit with a white flower pinned to his chest.
The Full House actor, 51, popped the question to his longtime girlfriend Caitlin McHugh, 31, while at Disneyland last year.
“John proposed to his girlfriend Caitlin McHugh on Sunday afternoon at Disneyland,” the actor’s’ rep told E! News. “He cut together a film of some of the most romantic moments in Disney and Pixar animation. The film concluded with Sebastian from The Little Mermaid encouraging John to ‘Just ask the girl.’ Caitlin said yes, then John whisked her to 21 Royal where they shared the news and celebrated with their families.”
Swoon!
Speaking with Entertainment Tonight back in January, Caitlin — opened up about their relationship.
“We like to keep our lives private because we’ve seen what relationships in the public eye can be like and we just like our privacy,” she said. “We don’t want the commentary from the masses about what our relationship is or should be.”
She added: “We’re very happy together and we hope to be so for a long time.”
And we can’t forget that pregnancy announcement.
peaking with People, the 54-year-old actor — who became everyone’s favorite uncle with his role on the hit 1990s sitcom Full House — confirmed the happy news.
“We have the same morals and the same values, that all clicked nicely,” he said. “So we said, ‘Oh, well, maybe we should have a family.'”
“[Caitlin said,] ‘Maybe we should have a kid [before we get married],’ and I said, ‘Why?'” he continued. “[Caitlin responded,] ‘Because you’re old.'”
Congratulations to the happy couple!
