But at the 68th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards in LA on Sunday night, the Modern Family star raised eyebrows as she walked the red carpet without her husband.
The highest-paid actress in television oozed confidence in a figure-hugging Atelier Versace gown, which she accessorised with a collection of Lorraine Schwartz diamonds.
At last year’s Emmys, Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello looked absolutely smitten.
Concerned fans were quick to point out Joe’s absence and also noted that the usually curvaceous 44-year-old looked more slender than usual.
“Where is Joe?,” One fan questioned. “Why you don’t do red carpet with your husband?” Another added.
“Omg ! I couldn’t recognise her,” added another concerned user.

In February, Joe couldn’t join his wife at the Oscars because of his busy schedule.
Speaking to Ryan Seacrest, the Colombian stunner explained, “He’s not here today! He couldn’t come with me.”
“He started filming Six, a TV show that he’s doing so he had to leave this morning.”
Earlier in the year the hunky True Blood actor was rushed to hospital, reportedly for a burst appendix. “He’s OK, he had a little problem, but now he’s good,” the actress told Entertainment Tonight.
While her Magic Mike hubby was nowhere to be seen, Sofia had support on hand thanks to her son Manolo, 24, who attend the event with her.
The brunette beauty, who married Joe in November was still the life of the party when she rubbed shoulders with her Modern Family co-stars backstage.
