Trying to decide what to wear is a struggle at the best of times but during Mardi Gras when the dress code is big, bold and beautiful – the pressure is on.
Of course, the most important thing is that you feel comfortable and confident in your skin, such is the whole point of the event, but if you find yourself leaning towards neutrals and want to branch out use this opportunity to embrace the weird and wonderful.
“Prints are the perfect way to insert more colour into your look. Alternatively, you could pick one or two shades or colour block your outfit and then use your makeup and accessories to inject more colour and substance to your look”, recommends the head of style at The Iconic, Nicole Adolphe.
“For lovers of monochrome, try wearing white, black or silver and add a pop of colour with your shoes, earrings or headwear”.
Still stuck on what to wear? Read on to find some picks we love and will be adding to cart ahead of the big events.
