On this day, 18 years ago, David and Victoria Beckham tied the knot in a fairytale ceremony at Luttrellstown Castle in Ireland.
To celebrate, the blissfully loved-up parents shared throwback snaps on both their Instagram accounts.
David’s rather hilarious post showed a younger Posh and Becks clad in matching leather from head-to-toe. Beside the shot, he wrote: “Wow we really did this. Happy Anniversary to an amazing wife, mummy and strong business woman ❤.”
Victoria threw back to the couple’s picturesque wedding day. In one hand, David cradles baby Brooklyn while clutching his new wife in the other. The now-parents-of-four gaze lovingly into one another’s eyes.
“I love you. Kisses x,” VB wrote alongside the memory.
Earlier this year, David revealed in an interview with BBC Radio 4 that he and his wife had renewed their vows since their 1999 nuptials.
“We have renewed our vows since that time. It was a lot more private with only six people,” the father-of-four explained.
His sweet revelation came off the back of the soccer star cringing at their first wedding.
That’s right. At the time Posh and Becks went all out, tying the knot in Ireland with entertainment from Elton John, fireworks and to cap it all off – matching thrones!
Looking back on his OTT big day, the 42-year-old laughed, “That was pretty bold. Victoria’s [outfit] was pretty nice. Mine, I’m like what was I thinking? I even had a top hat in purple. What was I thinking?”
“I look like the guys out of Dumb and Dumber.”

David, who shares kids Brooklyn, 18, Romeo, 14, Cruz, 12, and five-year-old Harper with the former Spice Girl, also spoke out on the challenges they’ve faced being married for what is an eternity in Hollywood years.
“We have got strong parents too and they taught us the right values. Of course you make mistakes and we all know that marriage is difficult at times. It is about working through it,” he mused.
“We have come up against tough times. But we know each other better than anyone else knows us. And we talk.
“Do we stay together because it is a brand? Of course not. We stay together because we love each other and because we have four amazing children,” he said.
