It’s official! Gwen’s representative has confirmed to US Weekly that the singer is dating her fellow The Voice star Blake Shelton just weeks after her divorce from Gavin Rossdale.
“Gwen and Blake are longtime friends who have very recently started dating,” the rep revealed.
The musicians were snapped cosying up at fellow The Voice judge, Adam Levine and Maroon 5’s Halloween party in California over the weekend which initially fueled romance speculation.
E! News exclusively obtained a revealing shot from the bash which showed Blake’s arm resting on the small of Gwen’s back. And just in case there was any doubt about their status, Blake’s rep also confirmed the relationship to E! News.
The colleagues spent most of their Halloween weekend together, with sources telling the website they both partied at George Clooney’s Casamigos party on Friday night.
“Blake showed up at the Casamigos party right around the same time as Gwen. It was definitely strange for him to be there because he hadn’t been in years past,” the insider revealed.
“They left right around the same time too. Although they were in separate cars when they left, they met up at the next party.”
Cuties! This pair make for the sweetest couple.
A second insider noticed that despite leaving George’s bash separately, they reunited at Jared Leto’s party later in the evening.
“They were holding hands and eventually ended up leaving his party late in the night together,” an eye witness explained.
As fans fall more in love with the hosts and their flirty chemistry, it’s clear that Blake and Gwen are a great source of support for one another.
Earlier this year the 39-year-old country star filed for divorce from his wife, fellow singer Miranda Lambert, after four years of marriage, and she said to be “not surprised,” by her ex-husband’s new flame.
“This is not the future we envisioned and it is with heavy heart that we move forward separately,” a statement explained about their separation at the time.
