We all know something whose name starts with Sam. Samuel, Samantha, Samson, Sammy… Well, it doesn’t matter which variation it may be because Uber is rewarding those lucky people. How? By giving them a free ride (well, to the value of $20, at least) for a whole week from August 21 to August 27.
According to Uber, Sam is the most popular unisex Uber Rider name in Australia. The lucky ones (dubbed Sambassadors) will be able to get one free $20 trip per day. So, for any small trips that you can’t be bothered walking/catching a bus/hopping on a train to, this will be your saviour.

This isn’t the first cool campaign the company has promoted. In February last year, Uber teamed up with Purina’s Pets at Work mission to bring puppies to people’s office to raise money for local animal shelters. So cute!
