Pawfect For You is a full-service chauffeur and pet care provider for couples on their wedding day, and on that note, we think weโve found our new dream job.
We all know the saying, โdo what you love, love what you do.โ
Veronica Silva creating a job where she plays with dogs at weddings professionally is pretty much the epitome of that.
Veronica resides in Malverne, New York, with her husband, Joey, rescued their dog JakeBear.
The idea for Pawfect For You came to Veronica when she struggled to find someone to take care of JakeBear.
โI was trying to find a pet sitting service that would take care of our dog on our wedding day, but would also bring JakeBear to the church and venue be in some of our pictures,โ Veronica explains.
โOf course, at a minimum, that meant driving the dog to the church for pictures after the ceremony, and I didnโt want to ask one of our friends since they were all part of our wedding. So thatโs when the thought came to me!โ
โNo two weddings are the same, and no two weddings are going to have the same needs. So I started Pawfect for You to build pet care packages tailored to each of our clientsโ needs.โ
Why should you hire Veronica rather than asking a friend or family member to look after your beloved puppy pal?
โGreat question,โ says Veronica on her website
โThere are so many parts of the wedding that friends/family are involved with too (for example, making sure you and your wedding party have umbrellas in case the forecast calls for rain.)โ
Veronica and her husband arenโt afraid to get their hands dirty, so to speak.
โWe love taking care of pets, and we look to consider that everything is taken care of. We come with poop bags on hand, a brush if your dog has long hair, even eye wipes if your pet tends to get gunky eyes.โ
โThis typically requires more than a few minutes of time and a lot of attention to detail. One mistake or slip of the leash can turn a wonderful event into something horrible.โ
โSo you have to ask yourself, is this something that you want your friend/family member to be responsible for?โ
Hmm, great point.
The real question is where can we apply for a job?
