After unexpectedly losing her husband Deonta two months before her due date, Nicole Bennet wanted to incorporate him into a maternity shoot with her four-year-old son Landen before she had the baby.
And the photos are stunning.
Telling ABC News, the Mississippi woman said: “I wanted to do something special because he’s been there for my son since day one.”
“It’s memories for my son of his father and for my daughter who will never meet her father, it’s memories for her as well.”
She approached photographer Sidney Conley about what she wanted, and the final results brought her to tears.
“Just how I edited [the photos] with him looking down on them, it’s showing that he’s making sure they’re okay,” Sidney said.
