To celebrate Neonatal Nurses Day Kleenex helped a grateful group of parents and their children show a beloved NICU nurse how much her loving care was appreciated in their time of need.
Veteran nurse Renee Hendrix was moved to tears when a bunch of her former patients and their families thanked her with a surprise visit to the Atlanta hospital where she works.
With more than 33-years on the job Renee says in the ‘Tiny Miracles’ video that she goes to work each day “hoping to make a difference in someone’s life.”
“These parents, they don’t get to take their babies home,” explains Renee. “I feel like if I treat the babies like I would want someone to treat my baby when I’m not there, that’s the most important thing.”
This video shows what a difference she has made and how much she has meant to the little lives she has helped save throughout her career.
