Toddler with Down Syndrome becomes new face of Bonds Baby Search

And he was wearing the same floral onesie that made his mother the target of online trolls. Take that, haters!

Gorgeous little Parker Abianac has won the 2016 People’s Choice award for Bonds Baby Search.

In a twist of sweet irony, the winning photo showed Parker wearing the same floral onesie that made his mother Kat the target of harsh online trolls.

Two-year-old Parker, who was born with Down Syndrome, is one of the winners of the baby search and will be part of Bonds’ advertising campaign for the next 12 monhts. Kat wanted to enter him into the competition to educate people.

“I decided I would enter to show them. There is a lot of hate out there for children with Down syndrome, there’s always people out there who are willing to throw in their unwanted and unwarranted two cents worth,” she told the Courier Mail.

Kat said she was inspired by family friend Madeline Stuart, a Queensland model with Down Syndrome.

“She is lovely and has an amazing champion in her mum,” she told the Courier Mail.

“She is a talented girl. I am sure she will be proud to see Parker in the campaign.”
