Life with a newborn can be brutal – the round-the-clock feeds, the sleep deprivation, being used as a human spew rag. The list goes on…
But the rewards can easily outweigh the tough times. All it takes is one gas-filled smile or an adorable gurgle that almost sounds like “mum” and all is forgiven.
Just ask new parents Tim Robards and Anna Heinrich, who are marking a very special milestone with their baby daughter Elle this week as she turns one-month old.
New mum Anna, 33, took to Instagram to pay tribute to her lookalike daughter, sharing a gorgeous new snap of Elle in a pink onesie showing off her beautiful shock of dark blonde hair.
“How has it been four weeks already 🤷♀️ it’s hard not to shed a tear (of joy & happiness) every time I look at you. I’m just so in LOVE. #fourweekstomorrow #hairgoals,” the Bachelor beauty penned alongside the photo.
Meanwhile former Neighbours star Tim shared a heart-melting video (which you can watch in the player at the top of this story) of his daughter enjoying a big post-nap stretch.
“Good morning… try watch this without yawning 😜#bedhairdontcare,” the 38-year-old captioned to sweet footage.
The reality TV couple, who met on season one of The Bachelor and tied the knot in 2018, welcomed their first child together in November.
Opening up about parenthood in a recent Instagram Q&A, Tim said Elle had been a dream baby.
“She’s been a great little baby though, we’re pretty lucky,” he said.
He also spoke about how he and Anna were balancing things out, telling fans: “As a guy it’s hard to help with feeding when she’s on the breast, but I help where I can other times,” then jokingly making a reference to wearing a bright pink cradler to hold baby Elle in.
He added that Elle’s sleeping schedule has also been “surprisingly good.”
“And the best part about it is I get to wake up to this little face every day.”
Of course, with both Anna and Tim being passionate about fitness, he explained their dynamic for when the other one needs time for exercise or a walk in Anna’s case.
“We’re really good as a team, we balance things out,” he said, before explaining that if Anna needs to get away for an hour she does, and vice versa.
