“I am so overcome with emotion and overwhelming feelings of love that it’s impossible to put in to words everything I am feeling right now. ❤️,” Simon wrote alongside a picture of the mum, dad and newborn together in hospital.

The doting mum added: “We love you endlessly and beyond comprehension already!! We miss you so much when you are sleeping… but at the same time just want to sit and watch you for hours while you do it. ❤️😆.”

“We can’t wait to tackle life together as a family, you are our everything. We love you.”

Simon and Lauren were thrilled to learn they were having a baby boy.

The couple were thrilled to have a boy, first revealing the gender to Now To Love last year where they told us: “We sort of always thought we would have a boy first. He’s a very active little boy,” Lauren said at the time.

The pair encountered a challenging journey to welcoming their new baby, with Lauren struggling to conceive initially.

They since spoke about it taking Lauren two years before she fell pregnant after she discovered she had cysts on her ovaries.

But she miraculously fell pregnant naturally, and it’s clear the journey was absolutely worth it.

We can’t wait to see what two weeks, and even two years brings for little Asher – stay tuned!
