Hollywood A-Lister Scarlett Johansson has opened up about the challenges of motherhood.
Speaking out on the red carpet at the amFAR event in NYC on February 8th, the Captain America star said; “I don’t profess to know anything about parenting. (Not) anything more than anybody else. But being a working mum is an incredible challenge and it’s an incredible gift.”
ScarJo is mum to two year old daughter Rose Dorothy.

The newly single 32-year-old, who’s just split from French artist husband Romain Dauriac after two years of marriage, added; “I think you always feel a little bit of guilt. If you’re at work you feel like you’re missing out on those special moments with your kid. If you’re with your kid, you feel like you’re not giving enough to your job. It’s a balance.”
With a career as hot as Scarlett’s it’s no wonder she’s found the parenting/work juggle tough at times. She has two films out this year including Ghost in the Shell and Rock That Body and she’s currently working on Isle of Dogs and Avengers: Infinity War.
She’s also admitted she’s finds it hard to switch off from work mode. “Whenever I’m taking time off, all I’m thinking about is working,” she has said.
Scarlett, who was honoured at the amFAR event for her work in raising awareness of HIV/AIDS also bravely admitted that she’s struggling. “I have a lot of huge admiration for working moms. I’m barely, barely holding it together.”
Minus the A-List salary, we know how you feel, girl…
