Sunrise weatherman Sam Mac doesn’t want to be a “daggy dad” and luckily, he has earned some “cool” points after having one of the most beautiful family ever.

(Image: Instagram)But the Mazda ambassador, Sam reveals even his little six-month-old, Margot with partner Rebecca James is a complete diva on mini-vacations.
“Anyone who is a parent, or who has had a baby realizes how much stuff they have like they are absolute divas,” he told TV Week.
“I thought I was a diva but then travelling with Margo, even if you are going out half the day you are taking out half the content of your house just in case.”
“I’m a girl dad.”
(Image: Instagram)The young dad clearly wouldn’t have it any other way given his entire Instagram feed is covered with moments with Margot from the moment she was born. But even despite his “girl dad” status, he isn’t opposed to having a little boy one day.
“I’m a girl dad. I’m pretty proud that I predicted a girl,” he said. But given the families’ strict schedule and Sam’s Sunrise job being based on travel – averaging roughly 100 flights per year – its unlikely we will see another member added to the Mac-James clan so soon.
He revealed the hardest part of being a dad isn’t the lack of sleep – which remains a big factor for Sam – but it is being away from Margot for long periods of time.
Sam informed TV Week: “Who knows what the future holds, but for the moment she’s definitely a handful in the best way.”
“I get back and she’s grown so much.”
Plus, Margot is coming close to speaking and Sam confessed he is “brainwashing” her to say one special word, ‘dad’: “She’s heading towards toddler phase so she is definitely keeping us so busy. On top of that, the travel schedule.”
Could another baby be on the horizon?
(Image: Instagram)Hopefully one day little Margot will walk down the aisle as a flower girl, as Sam revealed it is something in vision for the future. If only they could stray away from their busy schedules.
“There’s just so much going on right now. But I feel like, yeah that’s something for the future,” he said.
As the family prepare to jet off to attend Bec’s brother, Scotty James wedding this month, we hope the wedding vibes rub off!
