There’s a baby on the way for Robin Thicke and girlfriend April Love Geary!
The model announced her pregnancy on social media alongside two images — one, which showed a sonogram of the new-arrival-to-be, and another shot of herself in a bikini with her growing “lil peanut.”
“Robin and I are very excited to share with you all that we’re having a baby!” she captioned one of the happy snaps, adding, “The due date is March 1st, Alan’s birthday! ❤️”
Of course, ‘Alan’ is Alan Thicke, Robin’s dad, who passed away in December 2016.
TMZ reports that the baby is a girl.
Robin, 40, and April, 22, made their first public appearance together at the Cannes Film Festival in May 2015 after just over a year of dating.
The “Blurred Lines” singer is already dad to seven-year-old Julian Fuego, his son with ex-wife Paula Patton.
Robin and Paula, 41, went through a highly-publicised split in 2014, and were caught up in a nasty custody battle throughout their divorce proceedings. In fact, they’ve only just settled upon a custody deal.
During the lengthy ordeal, the Warcraft actress accused the singer-songwriter of “excessive spanking” in a request for full custody.
According to TMZ, allegations of the abuse surfaced after Julian told school officials his father had smacked him more than once.
The staff then reported the incident to the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS).
According to legal documents, Paula told her former spouse: “Julian is scared of you.”
Her declaration also revealed Julian had told his mother the day before he’d confided in school staff that Robin had hit him “really hard.” He demonstrated how hard he had been hit by hitting his mum on the back. While the slap was painful, the boy said he’d been hit even harder.
A school official also submitted a declaration which stated Julian had told her he’d been frequently “punched” by the star. A nanny has said there had been occasions when Robin had smoked marijuana in front of the boy.
In his defence, Robin stated he only ever spanked his son with an open hand on his behind, as had been agreed on by the pair during their marriage.
He was later cleared of any wrongdoing.
