Singer Ricky Martin has announced he expecting his fourth child with husband Jwan Yosef.
The 47-year-old Livin’ La Vida Loca songmaker announced the news during his acceptance speech at the 23rd annual Human Rights Campaign National Dinner in Washington D.C. on Saturday night, as he accepted the HRC National Visibility Award for his advocacy of LGBTQ rights and his philanthropy.
Ricky and Jwan already have three children together – 11-year-old twins Valentino and Matteo, who worn born in 2008 via a surrogate, and eight-month-old daughter Lucia, who was born at the end of 2018.
“My family’s here,” Ricky said in his acceptance speech.
“Jwan, I don’t see you; but my husband Jwan. I love you. My beautiful twins – Valentino and Matteo, they’re also here, I love you with all my heart. You’re my strength, you inspire me every day, you motivate me to keep doing what I’m doing and you guys are amazing kids. You guys are amazing. I love you. Lucia, my baby girl who is not here with us – she stayed at home with Grandma – but she’s also the light of my life,” he said.
“And by the way, I have to announce that we are pregnant,” he revealed, as the audience cheered. “Alright! I love big families.”
Ricky looked thrilled during the event as he announced the happy news.
(Credit: Getty)Ricky and Jwan first started dating in 2016 and after a whirlwind romance, were engaged in November 2016. Less than two years later, they were married in January 2018.
Jwan is a Syrian-Swedish painter who first connected with Ricky over art.
“I saw his art, and I went crazy because I really love what he does – really original. And I contacted him,” Ricky revealed on The Ellen Degeneres Show.
“And then you collected him,” Ellen joked in response.
On New Year’s Eve last year, the couple announced the birth of their daughter, Lucía Martin-Yosef.
Now it seems the adorable pair again want to add to their family, with a fourth child.

He publicly came out as gay in 2010 in a post on his own website, saying: “I am proud to say that I am a fortunate homosexual man. I am very blessed to be who I am.”
After repressing his sexuality for so long, he said that “these years in silence and reflection made me stronger and reminded me that acceptance has to come from within, and that this kind of truth gives me the power to conquer emotions I didn’t even know existed.”

He told Oprah in 2010 that he believed he was bisexual for many years.
“I felt it with a woman, I felt passion and it felt good” he said.
“And I’m sure I’m not the only gay man that felt attraction towards women…Sometimes I really did fall in love with women, for many years I did.”
Ricky says he doesn’t regret any of the female relationships he’s had.
“They taught me a lot, both men and women equally,” he told Spanish Vanity Fair in 2012.
