Rebecca Judd threw the party of all parties for her four-year-old daughter Billie. The 35-year-old confessed to her Instagram followers on Sunday, that it was the first ‘proper’ birthday bash she has thrown for her only daughter.
“I’ve been a bit slack the past couple of years,” Rebecca admits.
Could giving birth to twin boys Darcy and Tom be why the mum-of-four and her AFL star husband Chris Judd be too busy to throw lavish parties? We think so.
Making up for the past party-less four years, Rebecca went to town creating the most pawfect day for Billie inspired by her favourite Nickelodeon TV show.
“Billie is obsessed with Paw Patrol and requested this as her party theme,” Rebecca explained on Instagram.
Bec brought her daughter’s favourite cartoon to life with the help of party supplier Lenzo.
“And what a fab job they did!” Bec gushed.
Billie’s party was fit for a four-year-old with colourful balloons lining the ceiling and grass patch circles on the floor of the GreenFields Albert Park venue. Paw prints were scattered everywhere – on cookies, sweet treats and the tiered cake, all by Palm & Pine – and hot dogs were served from a designated stand.
While the venue was dressed to pawfection, it was birthday girl Billie who really looked the part.
Dressed as her favourite Paw Patrol character Skye, the four-year-old looked delighted with her face impressively painted to resemble a pooch.
“What a day…Thanks for an amazing Paw Patrol Pawty for Billie everybody!” Bec exclaimed.
Previously, Bec revealed concern for her daughter who, at such a young age, was beginning to obsess over her looks.
“All of a sudden [Billie] has started caring about her appearance so much. It’s really scary,” the TV presenter told The 3pm Pick Up with Monty Diamond.
“I don’t know where it’s come from because at home, I wear active wear pretty much, sneakers, chuck my hair up and barely put on any make-up.”
The lifestyle blogger admitted that she’s not sure what’s going on. She insists her daughter “doesn’t get screen time, she’s not watching shows that would put any importance on appearance”.
“She’s not on Instagram, she can’t read for goodness sake!”
Billie’s behaviour, Bec says, has made her and her husband’s focus shift to praising qualities far more important than physical appearance.
“It really makes Chris and I think OK, we’ve got to put so much emphasis on being a kind human and be strong and being smart.”
