In probably her most regal move yet, Princess Charlotte has sent out thank you cards to those who wished her well on her second birthday.
In reality, her loving parents Prince William and Duchess Catherine sent out the cards, but we like to think Charlotte played a key role in choosing the font.
The adorable gesture was photographed by one lucky person, who received the thank you note in exchange for sending Charlotte a birthday card.
The card features a lovely photograph of the young princess (taken by Duchess Catherine no less), which was released in celebration of her second birthday in May.
If you didn’t quite catch it, the card reads in full:
‘The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge thank you for the message you so kindly sent Princess Charlotte on the occasion of her second birthday. It really was most thoughtful of you and greatly appreciated.’
In case you missed is, here is the lovely portrait of Princess Charlotte, taken at home in Anmer Hall in Norfolk.
“The Duke and Duchess are delighted to share a new photograph of Princess Charlotte to mark her second birthday tomorrow,” Kensington Palace announced when the photo was released.
“The photograph was taken in April by The Duchess at their home in Norfolk.”
“The Duke and Duchess are very pleased to share this photograph as they celebrate Princess Charlotte’s second birthday.”
“Their Royal Highnesses would like to thank everyone for all of the lovely messages they have received, and hope that everyone enjoys this photograph of Princess Charlotte as much as they do.”
Princess Charlotte even wore the same navy blue bow for her first and second birthday photos – so sweet!
The youngest royal is growing up to be her mum’s mini-me, and we are fully on board with it.
