Pink and Carey Hart are two of our favourite celebrity parents out there.
Not only are they way cooler than the average mum and dad (sorry parents), but they are passionate about letting their children be themselves in whatever way they like. And it seems like their eight-year-old daughter Willow is taking after her mum with her edgy, punk rock style.
Carey Hart posted a picture to his Instagram account of his eldest child sitting in the hairdresser’s chair rocking an edgy, partly-shaved haircut, but it’s his caption that will have parents cheering.
“Loving my punk rock daughter. Remember everyone, fly your own flag. There is no box to be put in. Its better to be your own self. Own it, and love it. And if anyone has a problem with it, tell them (politely) to move on,” the dad-of-two penned.
“Cant wait to see the woman you grow up to be. I have a feeling you are gonna be strong, fierce, companionate, and caring. I’m so proud of you, willow.”
A strong, fierce, compassionate, and caring woman? Sounds a lot like her mum!

In August, the What About Us singer shared a photo of herself dyeing Willow’s hair blue to show solidarity towards fellow celeb mum Jessica Simpson, who had been trolled for letting her seven-year-old daughter, Maxwell “Maxi” Drew dye the ends of her blonde hair pink.
“I heard people were bummed on Jessica Simpson for letting her seven-year-old get her hair colored. So we thought we’d share what we did yesterday,” she quipped in her caption.
When Willow turned seven, she also celebrated by dyeing her hair a deep purple, with her proud dad Carey posting a picture to social media saying, “Have you met my daughter Wednesday Addams??? Love you munchkin. #MyDaughterIsMorePunkThanYours.”

(Image: Instagram @hartluck)Speaking to PEOPLE magazine in 2018, Pink admitted that whilst she’s a “tough mama” thanks to her her father’s military background, she’s all about telling the truth.
“I tell my daughter the truth. I let her be 6, but I want her to know about fairness and kindness, and that you have to fight for your rights, and that sometimes girls aren’t paid as much as boys for the same job, and girls aren’t treated the same and that they have to work harder for everything,” she explained to the publication.
Pink and Carey are also parents to two-year-old Jameson Moon and revealed she doesn’t want her son to bottle up his emotions and embrace his sensitivity.
“There’s a documentary called The Mask You Live In that’s incredible [in explaining] how ‘be a man’ are three of the most detrimental words that can be said to a little boy.”

To celebrate Pink’s recent 40th birthday, her husband shared a selection of cute photos of the singer with a message guaranteed to melt your heart.
“Welcome to 40 baby. I’ve celebrated 18 birthdays with you, and I can say it’s amazing growing up with you. The person you have grown into is inspiring. You have become a successful business woman, superstar, dedicated mother, Philanthropist, supportive wife, wine maker, motorcycle mama, and amazing friend to all around you,” he wrote.
Carey continued: “I’m so proud of the woman you have become, and you are more beautiful than ever. You truly are like wine. You just keep getting better, and I’m so lucky to be along on this crazy ride with you. I love you baby. Looking forward many many more birthdays with you. I can’t wait to see how nuts you and I are in our 80’s 😂😂. Enjoy your day.”
