TMZ claims the 15-year-old son of Madonna and her ex-husband Guy Ritchie isn’t a fan of his superstar mum’s “lifestyle and parenting skills.”
Rocco’s distaste for Madge’s ways was further heightened when he worked as a crew member on her Rebel Heart Tour this year, which had 81 shows around the world.
“Things deteriorated during the London shows in December. Rocco told his dad he couldn’t handle it anymore… he couldn’t take the travelling and the fights,” TMZ explained.
“There were horrible, full-blown fights with screaming and crying.”
Before adding that sources claim “Rocco told Guy he felt like Madonna treated him more like a trophy than a son” and the teen much prefers his director dad’s “stable life.”
Last week Rocco’s desire to stay with his father in London became public after Madonna went to court in New York to try and get her son to return to the US so they could spend Christmas together.
A judge has ordered that Rocco return to New York for a court hearing.
Rocco with stepmother Jacqui, father Guy and brother David at The Man From U.N.C.L.E. premiere in August.
Meanwhile on Christmas Day, Guy’s new wife and Rocco’s stepmother Jacqui Ainsley took to Instagram to share a family photo.
“May your days be merry and bright,” she captioned the shot from her July wedding which featured her children who she shares with Guy, Rafael, four, Rivka, three, and Levi, 18 months plus Madonna and Guy’s sons David, ten and Rocco.
Not to be outdone Madonna, who divorced Guy in 2008, also uploaded a slew of shots from her celebrations which featured oldest daughter Lourdes, 19, Mercy, nine, and David.
Although Rocco was absent, she shared a throwback shot of the pair from happier times alongside the caption “Merry X-mas to the Sun-shine of my Life.”
