All the emotional tributes shared in celebration of Mother’s Day

Former Home And Away star Johnny Ruffo took to Instagram to share his love.

“Happy Mothers Day,” he began.

“Sometimes I take for granted the things you do, but just know how much I love and appreciate you, you mean the world to me xx”.

Two of some of his biggest supporters, Tahnee Sims and Lynne McGranger commented on the photo with some sweet emojis!

Riley Keough, granddaughter of Elvis Presley, celebrated her first Mother’s Day without her mum Lisa Marie Presley.

To tribute her departed mum, she took to Instagram to share an image of Lisa cradling newborn Riley with her father holding tightly onto the pair.

“Lucky to have had the best and most deeply loving mama I could have asked for,” she wrote.

In celebration of herself as a young mum, Bindi Irwin shared a “then and now” image of her daughter Gracie Warrior.

“Exactly two years between these photos. My beautiful Grace Warrior, thank you for making me a mama. Being yours is the best part of my entire existence. I love you with my entire heart, forever,” she wrote.

Meanwhile, her husband Chandler Powell also took to Instagram to share an image of his little family smiling and having fun as Disneyland.

“Happy Mother’s Day,” he began. “Seeing your strength as you pushed through 10 years of pain to be the best mama to our daughter is something I’ll admire forever. I feel like I’m meeting you all over again watching your light come back as you continue to recover from your endometriosis surgery. You are amazing. I love you forever.”

Australian royalty, Bindi shared a tribute to her mum, Terri Irwin who she described as “gorgeous, strong, kind” and “loving”.

She concluded: “I’m grateful every day to be on this adventure of life with you.”

This was not the only tribute Terri received for the special occasion, as Robert also shared a flashback image of his mum holding on to her two children at the beach.

“Happy Mother’s Day to my biggest role model and inspiration,” he wrote.

Sunrise weatherman Sam Mac tributed his partner Rebecca James who also celebrated her first Mother’s Day!

Sam wrote: “Happy first Mothers Day to my darling @rebeccajames_stylist

“Watching you, my lover & best friend become “Mum” has been the magical icing on the Margot cake.

“Strong, funny, present, passionate, creative, reliable. You give Margot the best of you every single day & night. Nobody else could sing “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” with such gusto at 3 in the morning. & then proceed to perform 27 encores until she falls asleep.

“You are admired. You are appreciated. You are one HOT MUMMA. Also sending big love to those who no longer have their Mum by their side. Thinking of you today.

Chloe Lattanzi, who said one final goodbye to her mum Olivia Newton-John in 2022 shared an old video of the pair at the beach, writing “I love you”.

She is also celebrating her first Mother’s Day without her beloved.

“I hold you in my heart every moment. I feel your wings wrapped around me at all times,” she wrote.

“I will strive to do good works in your honor and because like mother like daughter. We live in our hearts. You gave me that. You gave me all.

For all those who don’t have a mother today know that I’m holding you. And for all those who do wrap then in your arms and never let them go.”

On Mother’s Day, Chloe and step-father John Easterling went to a luncheon to celebrate Olivia and the caregivers who helped them.

Brooke Warne shared a tribute to her mum, Simone Callahan with a collection of old and new photos. One even featured her late dad, Shane Warne.

“Happy Mothers Day to the best Mum in the world, You give me Strength every day, I would be lost without you🤍 I love you Muma,” she said.
