Australia's favourite parenting magazine celebrated the annual Mother & Baby Magazine Awards in style, with host Natalie Bassingthwaighte presenting the Mother of the Year with her $5000 prize.

The annual Mother & Baby Magazine Awards recognise the most popular baby and parenting buys of the year, as well as crowning one inspirational woman Mother of the Year.

Over a period of eight months, essential baby items such as cots, prams, baby wipes and nappies are put through their paces by a team of mum-testers (aka readers) and parenting experts, who assess products based on affordability, ease of use, quality and innovation.

Hosted by Natalie Bassingthwaighte, the ceremony also introduced the Mum of the Year – Farrah Millar – an ordinary Aussie woman who has gone above and beyond for her children and her community. Read more about Farrah’s incredible journey to be chosen as the 2016 Mother of the Year.

Celebrity and industry guests were greeted at the Sydney Rowing Club by the latest Mother & Baby magazine, featuring Michelle Bridges & baby Axel.

Winners celebrated their sweet success at the Awards with some treats from the dessert buffet.

The long tables were styled in natural tones to complement the lavish purple and gold theme created by The Party Parlour.

Personalised place settings made the ceremony even more special.

Cute cupcakes featured the Awards logo to add to the celebrations.
