Raiding your mother’s wardrobe is a rite of passage – just ask Morgan Kenny!
Over the weekend, the heavily pregnant Pilates instructor took to social media to share a sweet update on her growing bump.
“Happy baby bump. Happy toddler. Happy mumma,” Morgan penned alongside a series of photos, which showed her cutting a stylish figure with her two-year-old son Flynn at the Kawana Waters Farmers Market on the Sunshine Coast.
In the snap, the soon to-be mother-of-two dons a crochet top, which she teamed with a black crop-top underneath, black leggings, oversized sunnies and black sandals.
But it was Morgan’s crochet white top with a smiley face adorned on it which made proud mother Lisa Curry speak out.
“See… never throw anything out. That little top i bought in Hawaii about 20 years ago !! Good on you for keeping it xx 😘,” former Olympic swimmer Lisa pointed out of her timeless hand-me-down top.
Meanwhile Morgan’s husband Ryan Gruell also took to social media to show how they were spending their final days as a family-of-three.
Posting to his Instagram Stories, Ryan uploaded an adorable snap of Flynn kissing mum Morgan’s baby bump in the pool.
Last month, the family gathered to celebrate Morgan and Ryan’s baby shower with a gender reveal party in Maleny, Queensland.
“Nearly ready to be a granny, pa, gigi and opa again. 🤗 Beautiful afternoon for a baby shower with a beautiful couple. Will baby be pink or blue? 💕💙💕💙💕💙💕💙💕💙@morgangruell @ryan.gruell @gruells #granny #pa #gigi #opa, former swimming champ Lisa penned.
Former professional dancer Morgan, who works as a Pilates instructor on the Sunshine Coast, announced her second pregnancy back in May.
And in a truly special touch, Morgan revealed her second child’s due date was actually on her birthday – November 9th.
The Kennys have had an emotional few months after the tragic death of Lisa and Grant’s oldest child, daughter Jaimi Kenny, at just 33 years old.
In a heartbreaking statement, Lisa’s ex-husband Grant Kenny confirmed the news about his daughter on September 14.
“It is with a very heavy heart that Lisa and I confirm that our beautiful daughter Jaimi has lost her battle with a long-term illness and passed away peacefully in hospital this morning in the company of loving family,” he said in a statement.
He added: “Jaimi will forever be remembered as a caring, bright and loving soul who always put others before herself.”
