Married At First Sight’s Martha Kalifatidis has once again had to address rumours that she’s pregnant, something she’s growing increasingly fed up with.
After sharing photos of herself on Tuesday, the star was flooded with comments and messages asking if she and fiancé Michael Brunelli are expecting.
“Also not pregnant, but thank you for asking. Just got back from a feast at Da Orazio [restaurant] and haven’t s—t in six days so I hope that answers that for y’all,” she fired back on her Stories.
The MAFS alum previously banned followers from asking about her family plans, revealing in January that she can’t stand people demanding to know if she’s pregnant all the time.
Across the globe in the US, Hailey Bieber was forced once again to shut down reports that she and husband Justin Bieber are expecting.
After appearing at the 2022 Grammy Awards in a satin sheath dress that hung loose around her waist and stomach, social media went into overdrive claiming Hailey was trying to disguise a baby bump.
The 25-year-old was flooded with questions and rumours before taking to Instagram with a blunt comment: “I’m not pregnant leave me alone.”
Hailey has been denying pregnancy rumours since before she and Justin wed, writing on Instagram in 2019 when fresh rumours surfaced; “No, I’m not pregnant I just really love food.”

In 2022 we’re having more conversations than ever before about famous children’s rights to privacy, from the royal children to the kids of stars like Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban.
A growing number of famous Australians choose not to show their kids’ faces online, a parenting choice millions of fans respect.
Yet when it comes to the topic of pregnancy and family planning, there still seems to be a social media free-for-all.
In the last few years alone stars like Laura Byrne, Irena Srbinovska, Lisa Origliasso, Sarah Roberts, and so many more have been open about their traumatic experiences of miscarrying a pregnancy.

Their pain could have only been made more acute by comments left on Instagram and Twitter speculating about “another Bachelor baby”.
”Losing a child means carrying an almost unbearable grief, experienced by many but talked about by few,” Meghan Markle wrote in 2020 for the New York Times, speaking of her own miscarriage in 2019.
“Yet despite the staggering commonality of this pain, the conversation remains taboo, riddled with (unwarranted) shame, and perpetuating a cycle of solitary mourning.”
An estimated one in four pregnancies end in loss here in Australia, and even those that don’t can still be difficult emotionally and physically on the mother.
Even falling pregnant can be a long and emotional road for Aussie women, like Miranda Tapsell who last year told The Weekly it took 18 months for her and husband James Colley to conceive.
With all this in mind, it’s easy to see why stars like Martha and Hailey are frustrated as it’s completely their choice if and when they decide to share their family plans with the world.
