Lleyton and Bec Hewitt’s little boy isn’t so little anymore!
On Wednesday, Cruz Hewitt turned 11 years old, and his proud parents were there to share the birthday love on social media, with some adorable throwbacks of their only son.
Time flies! Cruz Hewitt is already 11-years-old.
(Image: Instagram @lleytonhewitt89)Proud dad Lleyton, 38, posted two photos to his Instagram account, the first of which was taken recently of himself and Cruz, who is following in his dad’s tennis footsteps.
But it was the second photo of the father son duo, taken back when Cruz was a toddler, that really warmed our hearts.
In the candid snap, Lleyton is on the tennis court, racket in hand, crouching down to his son, who’s only a tiny bit bigger than his own tennis racket!
“Happy B’day to my best mate @cruzhewitt Can’t believe you’re 1️⃣1️⃣ now! #Dooza,” the father-of-three captioned his post.

In the first, a young Cruz is dressed in tennis whites at Wimbledon, a tennis racket bag slung over his shoulder, smiling at the camera. Meanwhile in the second, a present-day Cruz poses alongside Spiderman.
“When did you get so big? You’re my favourite little dude! You have the kindest heart. I am so proud of you Dooza! Happy 11th Birthday buddy! #11 #Dooza,” Bec captioned her snaps.

(Image: Instagram @bechewitt23)Cruz isn’t just a carbon copy of his dad in the looks department- he’s also inherited the tennis gene and has been playing in the December Showdown national championships at Melbourne Park.
Lleyton has previously spoken about how he believes Cruz will be playing in the Australian Open by the time he’s 14.
“Hopefully he gets a chance to play in this great event if he wants to. Hopefully he beats me,” the proud dad said.

Lleyton and Bec are parents of three to Mia, 14, Cruz, 11 and Ava, nine, and it seems that all three of their children will be following in their famous parents’ footsteps.
Eldest daughter Mia is becoming a fashionista in her own right and stunned fans with her glamorous, grown-up look when she attended the Dior show at Paris Fashion Week with her mum back in July.
As for the baby of the family, Ava’s Instagram feed is flooded with pictures of herself showing off her impressive gymnastic skills.
